Senior Executive - Assistant Manager - Content and Marketing (Malaysians Only)

Sweet Spot Digital (Malaysia) is a technology startup that is building a marketing engagement platform. Sweet Spot is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berjaya Corporation Berhad. We are currently expanding our team and looking for talented people.


The scope includes      

  • Primarily supports the marketing drive and objectives for the brand and business   
  • Provide liaison and service support for clients and partners, from  both Sales and  Marketing   
  • Manage and coordinate  content  for all platforms involved  –   app, web, social, screens  etc .   
    • From materials sourcing, editing, liaising with external vendor/partners to  obtaining relevant approvals up  to   live posting/publishing   
  • Assist in preparing any other brand content when needed   
  • Coordinate user communications   including but not limited to e - newsletter mailing   
  • Collaborate and coordinate with external agencies and other vendor partners   for the  brand’s needs   
  • Gate - keeping to ensure the App (and everything else brand - related) is up to par and  in - line with what the brand stands for,  both in content and  visual   
  • Prep, share and present whenever needed  -   campaign reports, acquisition updates  and marketing stats and trends   
  • Keep a pulse of  users’ cheers, boos and feedback through official and public tools  and platforms
  • Be part of the b rainstorm ing   engine for  new and creative growth strategies   for brand  awareness and lead generation   
  • Evaluate  new and emerging technologies,  providing   insights   and perspective for  adoption where applicable   
  • Wit and sense of humour are not compulsory but will come in handy   
  • Keeping an open mind to new learning opportunities , in every aspect   of the business 


Role Requirements   

  • Open to Malaysians only
  • Higher Diploma or Degree in  Marketing, Business or related field   
  • Proven working experience in marketing, with a focus on digital   
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital  campaigns that engage, inform and motivate   
  • Up - to - date with the latest  trends and best practices in  digital   marketing and  measurement   
  • Possess analytical skills and data - driven thinking   
  • An   eye for design   and what good branding means   
  • Minimum  3   years working experience in a similar role     
  • Strong communications  and organizational  skills   
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken   
  • Driven, can - do attitude and always ready  for the next frontier
