The Working Capitol is Singapore’s most vibrant and diverse coworking space. It offers a range of workspace solutions, community programmes, and professional and lifestyle events aimed at inspiring growth and well-being for the networks it creates and helps sustain. The Working Capitol currently operates its first site out of a refurbished 1920’s biscuit factory in the heart of Singapore’s Chinatown, with a community of members comprising of solo-preneurs as well as some of the hottest tech unicorns.

Named one of the top coworking spaces in Asia by Forbes, The Working Capitol is deeply ingrained in the neighbourhoods in which it operates. An expansion of its Keong Saik campus will be opening towards the end of 2018, offering a greater array of services to its community.


We are looking for a Community Executive to join us:

As Community Executive you are responsible for supporting TWC's community of members, partners and clients through the day to day management, operations and commercial success of your TWC site. People are the heart and soul of our space and services. Together with your team you will create and deliver the experiences, programmes and services that serve and connect our members and community. You will be a catalyst to creating a vibrant and enjoyable work environment, as well as bring people, ideas and businesses together in the space.

Your main job responsibilities will include:

As TWC’s Community Executive you will be essential in the brand’s first impression and integral to members’ and guests’ experience within our space. Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Be the first and last point of contact for The Working Capitol
  • Cover the reception desk during business hours
  • Greet walk-ins, event attendees and check-in any guests
  • Work with the Facilities and IT Team to set and provide excellent operating procedures, company standards and service execution to meet member needs and business goals
  • Support in different areas of the member’s journey, from creating accounts and access cards to sending member announcements
  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • Support in the inventory management of site supplies, including stationery and 
member tools
  • Support the member onboarding and move out process, setup accounts for new members, onboard them onto our systems, prepare welcome packets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and adhere to processes


  • Being the point of contact for all existing and prospective members
  • Assisting to their queries with a high standard of customer service, representative of the TWC brand
  • Be active on TWC Circle, encourage members to build their profiles on the TWC Member Portal
  • Understand members’ businesses to facilitate with introductions to other members, partners and services that will support their business needs
  • Amplify the communication of events to members and guests; support in the creation of marketing content.


  • Ensuring the TWC experience is reflected in every interactive touchpoint
  • Conduct site walk-throughs to ensure that facilities standards are maintained - from meeting room set up, to site cleanliness, to making sure our pantry is fully equipped
  • Manage the move-in and move-out of members from Workdesks and Workspaces, ensuring spaces are setup and reinstated


The ideal candidate for this role:

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience in the hospitality industry, membership club, events or related industries. He/she will need to:

•      Have an excellent customer service experience

•      Have an entrepreneurial spirit and be passionate about connecting people

•      Be social and passionate, with a hands-on personality and excellent interpersonal skills

•      Have an interest in the startup ecosystem

•      Have experience working in a team environment

•      Be proficient in computer and software skills

•      Have an excellent standard of written and spoken English
