Smove is the leading car sharing technology provider and operator in Asia. Based in Singapore, the company develops its hardware and software systems in house. The Singapore operation has 400+ cars which customers can book online to rent on an hourly basis.

Full control over the technology/ops stack results in the ability to be agile in producing solutions to real world challenges faced by our operations. There is a big focus on IoT, optimisation, algorithms and hardware/software R&D. Smove is testing other markets in the region where our platform can revolutionise the traditional car ownership and car rental models. The company has strategic partnerships with industry heavyweights such as Uber and local Government.

smove gives people without cars the ability to hire one when they need it, at short notice from their mobile phone in just 3-5 clicks. They like it because they can pick up the car from an ordinary parking location and drop it off wherever is convenient.

For the future, smove plans to offer to licence its technology to car fleet operators in urban locations outside Singapore, likely franchising a package to sell mobility as a service, giving operators the ability to create utility-like services for transportation of people & goods anywhere.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, as the Senior Marketing Executive, you will support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns in order to achieve business development targets. You will utilise a range of digital and traditional tools, including advertising, e-marketing, direct marketing, PR, print and social media. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a wide range of materials to be used for marketing and sales.

On-going marketing tasks:

  • Maintenance of marketing material such as marketing brochures, websites, templates etc.
  • Assist with the implementation of brand guidelines across the business, keeping all teams compliant.
  • Source, copy write where necessary, and proof/edit content for a variety of printed and online channels (e-newsletters, websites, proposals, marketing campaigns and social media) and managing the necessary approval processes.
  • Case study and press release development for PR campaigns to generate editorial coverage.
  • Oversee and regularly update websites.
  • Social media management, from planning through content creation to reporting.

Campaign Planning:

  • Support the Head of Marketing in creating marketing and communications plans for achieving company, service or brand objectives.
  • Execute the agreed marketing strategy, using a range of tactics.
  • Conduct research to identify key audiences, whether client or stakeholders, and identify best tactics for engaging these audiences.
  • External brand building or sales opportunities.
  • Monitor a variety of external channels to alert the team regarding relevant upcoming conferences and events for networking and speaking opportunities.
  • Co-ordinate conference event plans and setup.


  • Monitor marketing metrics across various channels in order to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Prepare end of month and campaign reports reflecting ROI and impact of sales and marketing activities.
  • Conduct competitive or market analysis in order to identify market opportunities and threats.





  • Bachelor degree, preferably majoring in marketing or business.
  • Other related formal marketing training a bonus.


  • Minimum of three years experience in a marketing role and delivering a wide range of tactics from across the marketing mix (demand generation, engagement, brand building, partnership working etc.) across a range of channels (online, email, social media, print etc.)
  • Experience in B2C marketing.


  • Demonstrable hands on experience with Facebook Ad Manager, Google Adwords, Google Analytics (or similar analytics package).
  • Data driven approach.
  • Excellent verbal communications skills including ability to decipher, draft and disseminate key messages.
  • Excellent copywriting skills in order to both create and review written materials in line with key messages.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly IT literate with strong skills across all Microsoft Office/Google Docs applications.
  • Experience with design software a plus.
