Operations & Transformation Intern

Having established leadership position in its home market, India, OYO is now looking to aggressively expand to Southeast Asian markets, starting with Malaysia. We are looking to hire passionate individuals who can take high degree of ownership and deliver results.


Transformation function

Transformation forms the backbone of our core value promise of providing standardized experience. Before any new hotel is on-boarded on OYO’s platform, it has to undergo a ‘transformation’ – essentially an exhaustive check or makeover that is required to become an OYO. ‘Transformers’ – as people who work in this function as passionately referred to as, are the custodians of standardization for OYO.



1) Carry out audits in every potential hotel to evaluate its material state and quantify the work needs to be done to conform to OYO standards

2) Communicate OYO’s expectations to the hotel partners and negotiate to get the transformation work done in their hotel in coordination with business development team

3) Develop vendors and facilitate hotel partners to get the work done at a controlled cost by providing

Vendor Support.

4) Ensure that the transformation work is completed within stipulated    timeframe

5) Associate and infuse OYOs brand value in the partner hotel.

6) Relationship management with stakeholders (Business development, hotel owners, hotel managers vendors), work closely with all stakeholders to achieve desired standards in the properties within stringent timelines.

3) Strong communication and Negotiation skills

4) Problem solving ability, data driven and ability to work in MS Excel and Power Point.
