Business Operations Lead

Kwikcar is an on-demand car sharing platform that connects idle cars to people who needs them occasionally. We aim to disrupt the traditional car rental industry and in the process redefine car ownership as we know it.


The position works closely with the CEO to play an important role of providing the highest level of service and support to the new and existing car owners and renters. You will be working optimally across and within functions, driven by the need to achieve operating targets and financial metrics.

This role requires the ability to get one’s hands dirty with operational matters but also demonstrate the ability to think strategically with the big picture in mind. You have a balanced mix of people, technical, analytical and operations skills.



  • Operation management: Overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business and oversees a highly enthusiastic ops team.
  • Enhancing customer experience: Lead and continuously improve communications and customer engagement programs via the various online and offline channels.
  • Process improvement: Identify operational and structural weaknesses and help improve existing or develop new processes to keep us as efficient as possible.
  • Scale: Focus on process automation and efficiency gain to support the scaling of business in Malaysia and beyond.
  • Analyse and optimise: Undertake data collection, normalisation, and reporting on value chain performance and drill down to analyse inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Be the coach. Setting up SOPs and guidelines for members of the ops team to ensure a consistent and efficient approach to all matters.
  • Product enhancement. Contribute to the continuous improvement of UX / UI driven by consumer behaviour and overall organisation objectives.

  • Experience in a consulting role and/or a notable start-up
